Bhutan Library Consortium
The mission of the Bhutan Library Consortium is to promote and facilitate excellent library services throughout Bhutan. The BLC achieves this mission by helping member libraries to share resources, knowledge and expertise; by encouraging collaboration and cooperation; and by providing training and education. Principles functions of the BLC are to: • Promote formal relations between members to foster collaboration and networking. • Support optimal access to information for members through regional and national co-operation. • Promote collection building and resource sharing. • Provide support for the implementation and management of common library systems. • Improve skills of all library workers and to share training resources and expertise.
